Andrea WagonerAndrea Wagoner ★★★★★ Eric SchmidtEric Schmidt ★★★★★ The team at Ridgefield made me safe. I knew I could move through the burden of myself and ask others for help. If you question going to Ridgefield trust that life will open up to you.Marc FosterMarc Foster ★★★★★ I had alcohol poisoning from self abuse Feb 17th 2026 in the ER with a lethal level of BAC by blood. The Recovery Village accepted me for treatment immediately and I went in Feb 23rd 2026. This program blew my mind on how professional and how very amazing it is. This program helps both mental health to find the reasons why substances are used and the addictions side to arrest cravings etc. My best personal example is they help you look deep into who you are like giving you a mirror. You look at yourself, then deeper into yourself to find out who you are and what trauma you have internally that causes you to want to numb those past experiences. Then everything I swept under the rug since I was 5 yrs old so to speak they showed me how to lift that rug, pull out every grain of sand etc and analyze, then show you how to change your view and perception to see that such things like PTSD etc are only momentary experiences and that those very bad times dont have to be there or repeat themselves in life today. I know for a fact if someone goes to this place and is fully engaged, dedicated and involved with the community there they will succeed. My depression went from severe clinical to normal levels and my brain fog with cravings are gone. I graduated yesterday April 3rd after 40 days and im so very proud of who I am now. 1 step at a time and 1 day at a time. The amount of psychological tools you are taught and given are absolutely life changing. I went to another treatment center 1.5 yrs ago. 5 days in the Recovery Village blew away a 27 day program somewhere else. I give much respect to Vernon my clinician for the upmost care he showed me on levels I cant even describe. Also the entire staff especially Shannon as one of the many other great BHT members. Her spouse died and she personally showed me how with his alcoholism and liver failure followed by death. Seeing her loved ones entire body yellow orange really locked my attention in to not just want the change but to immediately crave my life to be healthy and free of substance abuse. The Recovery Village saved my life and for that I am truly beyond great full. For anyone reading this and you or anyone is struggling, I HIGHLY recommend giving them a call. You wont be disappointed. Thank you Recovery Village Ridgefield for helping me! Sincerely Marc Foster. 💙❤️Deborah MonahanDeborah Monahan ★★★★★ great info i learned a lotJessie CarrowJessie Carrow ★★★★★ The staff was wonderful, I stayed for 6 days to detox from death to health and have been sober ever since. 5 months and 8 days. I found out I have mouth cancer shortly after which is now my battle but I can do it sober because of you and may not have been able to even go through surgery as sick as I wasnorthtacomaninjanorthtacomaninja ★★★★★ This place was great. I met a bunch of cool people that were going through similar stuff I was. Everyone was really nice and they made it as comfortable as possible for everything. I did detox first and then moved to residential. Where we learned a lot about stay sober and stuff like that. Thank you everyone that helped me. I owe you my lifeJake TrentJake Trent ★★★★★ I stayed here recently. It is by far the best Treatment Center I've been to, and I've been to a few. Its very structured yet relaxed. Great staff and counselors. Co-ed, good food, very clean, the have many personal breaks, which includes going outside to smoke/vape. 2 ppl per bedroom w/ private bathroom. After 5 days of consecutive classes, they give you your cell phone back to you. If you are seeking rehab, this place is top-notch! Highly recommend.ricardo charlesricardo charles ★★★★★ bob shafferbob shaffer ★★★★★ Professional friendly staff; empathetic, most seem to have been in recovery themselvesResponse from the ownerBob, thanks for recognizing our empathetic and understanding staff. Your recovery matters deeply to us! GilbertGilbert ★★★★★ All my needs were met with great care professionalism and compassionJoe MarshallJoe Marshall ★★★★★ Best inpatient EVER!Tylene TownsendTylene Townsend ★★★★★ I can’t thank this place enough for getting me sober and showing me why i should choose to live. The nurses are the best staff out of the entire team. Nurse Angie and Nurse Toni were amazing and my rocks throughout the whole stay. Most of the counselors are good, however, Ken, he is awful. He insists he’ll meet with you one day but pushes it back a few days every week. If you want to get a family session in, you have to hunt him down. He gives no guidance during family sessions and every client he’s had has said the same. I think he robs some people’s chance at actually talking to him about why they came there. He writes off a 2 minute family session as a family session even if all you got out of the convo was “hey”. Other than that, the BHTs were lovely, the nurses were amazing and the cooks and food was great. Cook Michelle deserves a raise because that lady puts love into her food, she is so wonderful, calm and caring. Tasha once you get to PHP 1 is one of the best teachers. She works deep with you and helps you get through some of the trauma. It’s amazing. That’s all i have. Thank you Recovery Village.Damian GarciaDamian Garcia ★★★★★ This place changed my life staff is great people were great made lots of new friends lots of new sober contacts and wanna give a special shout out to BHT’s Jay, Randy ,Lindsey ,Scott, Stephanie & teachers Tasha, Jeremy, Maddie, Ken, and special shout out to councilor Merideth they are all badass people and will get you all the answers you need in rehab great experience great teachings and it’s only a month long highly recommend 66 days and counting for me!Eric StroyanEric Stroyan ★★★★★ Really nice staff, good structure and groups. Great food. Relaxed atmosphere. Great recovery place!chris kernschris kerns ★★★★★ Adam is the best teacher ever created by man. Power through Res 1 and then Res 2 will change your life .Kelly is the worst teacher. She puts her self before her students. She has OCD, someone will be telling and emotional story and crying and in the middle she will yell Feet off the table! She told us she stopped going to meetings because she is on a prescribed stimulant.(Bad advice) She told us she is bipolar, and lives separate from her husband. She can't read a room or individual people. You can deal with her after some sober time, but being forced to go to her class after/during withdrawals will make people want to AMA. She has good intent but is not qualified for her position. She told people to tell HR at their work that they are experiencing PAWS after going to Rehab. She yelled at the BHTs about closing the doors from cigarette break because SHE is trying to quit. Teaching addicts about recovery from a recovering addict should be selfless. She is doing it for selfish reasons. The place, staff, food, community and structure is great. Just power through her classes to get to the good stuff and you will live a sober life. Maddie, Adam, and Jeremy, as well as your counselors will change your life for the good.Drew and CharlieDrew and Charlie ★★★★★ Went out of their way to give mw my own room cuz it wasnt that busy. Staff was pretty great, lotta good people. They made sure I didn’t suffer. You will not suffer unless you have to. Unless there is no drug that can stop your pain. Some alcoholics and fent users, still have a lot of discomfort, but if you aren’t too far gone, they will make you right again. Give you a shot at recovery.Cristina SwanCristina Swan ★★★★★ Saved my life twice! Love themScott MoodyScott Moody ★★★★★ My experience here was exceptional.
