In October 2018, Advanced Recovery Systems announced a partnership with Cooper University Health Care to build a new state-of-the-art, 90-bed inpatient treatment facility in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This facility, The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper, now delivers compassionate, evidence-backed care for substance use disorders and co-occuring mental health conditions.

I would like to say that I have been in a lot of detox facilities and this facility is the best The doctors are compassionate to your situation and take their time the techs are also very competent And make sure you have everything you need. I did a rapid detox because I had to go back to work and they were able to formulate a plan. And it actually worked for me. They did not try to force me to stay like most places would because they want the insurance money. They just wanted to make sure that I was okay. And? The plan actually worked for me Of course, it's a business but they're not just about the money where most places are and they are s***Shows Recovery village is not so I highly recommend this place - John Schwab - This is an update on my review that I posted over a year ago. And I would like to state that I am still clean to this day and I do still work with cooper therapists and doctors, this place is the best. Thank you for helping me get my life back.!!

Very comforting because I didn’t know what to expect being away from my own home I’ll give it six stars instead of five . Staff was caring and concerned with all issues. but of course you can’t please everyone. If I had to recommend your facility to anyone, it would be a +7 for sure oh and the food was very good.and I’m doing well, been clean since feb, 2026. I had a very good experience at Recovery Village. Everyone for the most part was professional and courteous. The patients were amazing and probably the best part of my stay. The 4 star review is really only because of the seeming miscommunication with some of the staff department. Nothing can really be perfect though. After care could have been a little more comprehensive as well. The food was adequate. Not 5 star but its a rehab people come on. Some staff highlightes are nurses Matt and Corrina and Chase. My therapist Taylor was also awesome as well. TJ the new BHT was amazing as well. Don't let the poor reviews thwart you. No one really knows a place unless they've been there. My worst experience there were the nightly AA meetings. It was just a bunch of scare you straight horror stories that honestly triggered me more than helped me. But other than that a really great experience that I hope never to have again. But then again, that's the point, right?

I had a great experience with a few of the nurses, therapists and bhts. Specifically, Jada, Brittany, Ty, Selena, Chuck, Kim, Jennifer, Elise, Peggy, Courtney, Eric, Melissa, and especially the kitchen staff. Not only did they make my stay great, they made my birthday great. They went above and beyond for me. Jennifer made sure I had clothes. Jada, Melissa, Ty, Peggy, Elise, and Courtney always cheered me up when I was sad. Jada especially helped me with my hard days. Selena, Eric, and Chuck were especially great nurses to me. Always made sure I took my meds on time and had everything I needed. Brittany was my case manager and helped me with my recovery process and continuing with my recovery process. All kitchen staff, sadly I can only remember Ky’s name were great. Made great food. Always had a smile. And even baked me a cake for my birthday. They all went above and beyond for me.
